New Pattern: Meet Ollie the Owl!

A crocheted owl on a white background

“Ollie is an inquisitive young bird from the forests of England. He just loves to read (fiction or non-fiction) and, though it can get him into trouble sometimes, he is always hungry for knowledge – and crickets!”

This little fellow was first made as a prize for a Halloween treasure hunt for my family. He was to be found as one of three crocheted Halloween-y animals, each in a little cauldron, along with some Halloween chocolates. Each cauldron was labelled with the name of the family member whose prize it was - the owl was the prize for my dad. (See here for another Halloween treasure hunt idea)

Make your very own Ollie the Owl with this pattern! Patterns for the other spooky friends, including the other animals that were prizes alongside Ollie, are coming soon in a range I’m calling ‘Familiars’, so watch this space for those!

Make Ollie the Owl your next crochet project today! You can buy this pattern as a downloadable PDF on Etsy or download it for free on Ravelry, or find more information on the pattern here.

Happy Crafting!
