Note: All my patterns use UK crochet terms for stitches, but include the US terms for stitches, where necessary, in the list of abbreviations at the beginning of each pattern.

Amigurumi Animal Patterns

Amigurumi (from the Japanese word for “knitted or crocheted stuffed toy”) is the craft of making stuffed toys or dolls using yarn. While the term ‘amigurumi’ can refer to knitting, it is usually used to describe crocheted work.

Stuffed toy animals are some of my favourite patterns to make because you can give each one its own character, and I’ve always liked creating lots of different shapes that come together to make a finished (and very cute-looking!) whole.

Below you can browse my selection of crochet patterns for stuffed animals - click on each image to see more details on each pattern and find links to purchase them on Etsy and Ravelry.

Happy Crafting!
