Ollie is an inquisitive young bird from the forests of England. He just loves to read (fiction or non-fiction) and, though it can get him into trouble sometimes, he is always hungry for knowledge – and crickets!

For this pattern you will need:
5g mid brown DK yarn
Around 170 cm light brown DK yarn
Around 140 cm orange DK yarn
3.5 mm crochet hook (UK 9, US E/4)
10 mm safety eyes
Stuffing
Darning needle
Any crochet hook smaller than 3.5 mm to weave in loose ends
Stitch marker to keep track of the end of your most recent round (optional)
Size: about 8 cm tall (up to top of head) and 5 cm wide (shoulder to shoulder).
Difficulty: no complex stitches, some fiddly sewing.
