Peanut the Bat

A crocheted bat hanging upside-down from a branch

(Note: Peanut the Bat cannot actually hang upside-down.)

Peanut is a long-haired fruit bat from the mountain forests of Kenya. She’s just discovered that bats are commonly part of something called “Halloween” – she’s not quite sure what it’s all about, but it seems to involve lots of yummy sweet treats! That said, she would prefer a nice piece of fruit the rest of the year (bananas are her favourite!)
