Festive Flowers (from Christmas 2012)

Due to medical problems, I haven't been doing much crochet lately. ๐Ÿ˜” (I am still working on a new pattern for the beginning of 2025 though, so watch this space!)

In the meantime, I thought I'd share something with you from the woollen vault again!

I got the pattern for these flowers from my first ever crochet kit (Crochet Art by 4M). As one of the first things I learned to crochet, I made a lot of these back in the day, but some of my favourites are these ones in Christmassy red and green.

My sister and I made them for a Winter Fair at our school to sell for charity - my sister made the ones with beads in and I made the ones with gold thread. My mum liked them so much, she requested that one of each kind be kept back for her to keep. We still put them up every Christmas to this day!

Want to see me make some crochet patterns with beads or shiny threads in? Let me know in the comments or via the socials at the top of the page!

Whether you celebrate, however you celebrate, a Happy Holidays from Koalamea Crafts!
